More in January...

So....here are lots more pictures from January. Since we can't really take Axton anywhere or go many places....we are at home a lot & I'm always taking pics of the kids. :) We have fun & I love getting to stay home with them.

Axton laying on the floor & starting to coo!

Baby boy is growing so fast & getting long....he takes up my whole torso! He would've only been a few weeks old here....& is probably still the size of a newborn, which means he could still fit in my belly. I can't imagine how he could fit in there! :)
We went out to Nana & Papa's one Sunday afternoon so that Chris & Norm could shoot their guns. I shot a few & then brought Meritt out to watch the boys and walk around.
Chris shooting his new gun
Me holding Chris's new gun & I shot it, but I don't like it because it kicks too much.
Watching the boys shoot their guns....from a distance...& with a sticker on her knee! :)
Adorable Axton! There's such good light in the living room during the day.
Big sister loves to "boop" his nose because I do it all the time when I'm playing with him.
Meritt still loves to play on our bed.....& loves for Daddy to body-slam & flip her even more!!

 And jumping, too!

We started doing Tummy Time at about 10 weeks old, but not very long because of his spit-up issue.

All of a sudden he flipped over.....but it was just random. :)
This cracks me up....When Chris is holding Ax, Meritt loves to lay in between his legs to watch TV.
 Loves holding her baby brother
We were excited to visit with Julie & Addyson one afternoon. Addyson was Axton's "nursery neighbor" when they were in the NICU together. They are only 4 days apart....literally....because Julie was exactly 32.5 weeks when she had her, like I was. :) We've been keeping in touch with each other & hope to see them again before they move to Austin soon.

I LOVE this pic of them on Meritt's little couch in her room!
Mommy & Axton on his playmat one night around midnight when he was wide awake.

This boy loves to sleep in Mommy & Daddy's bed. We only bring him in there when he's trying to wake up too early....and it will get us another hour or so. :)
I love how she looks with little pig tails....& I don't do it enough.
 Sleepy boy
I was determined to try to potty train Meritt one day, so I put her in some big girl panties....but it didn't last long because I was NOT going to clean up pools of pee all day. We don't think she's ready anyway, so we're waiting a little while.
The weather has been cra-zy lately. We haven't had much of a winter & one day got a big wind/dust storm.
 Hi!!
Sleepy girl. She sleeps like this all the time & I don't know how her arm doesn't fall asleep.
 Loves looking at baby brother.
 After bath

Does she have enough stuff in her bed?? We let her take a couple toys to bed because she will play a little while before falling asleep, but she gets up to bring more...after we walk out. :)
It got a little warmer one day & Gramie came to visit. I looked outside & saw this.....SO CUTE!!
Later that day, Papa Don brought his new puppy, Pixie, over to play with Meritt. She loves dogs, but also freaks out a little when they try to touch her. :) It's so funny to watch her & she had a blast. She couldn't say the name very clear, so we kept hearing, "Pissy....PISSY!!" We were dying laughing the whole time.

Axton got to come outside, too....but pretty much slept the whole time.
I had to get a pic of those precious piggies because we never hardly get to see them since they are always in footie outfits all the time. :)
Daddy tried to sit him in Meritt's little chair.
Then Meritt thought she needed to sit there.
Fun times!
